This sweet Grandma passed away yesterday evening. She had what we think was a stroke last Saturday and we knew it was only a short amount of time that she had left. She was in a coma but hung in there longer than any of the doctors expected, she went home to be with the Lord and her husband! We are rejoicing that she is no longer suffering!
It doesn't look as though we will be able to make it to her funeral with Andy leaving early next week for basic training.

Awww, Jenn, I'm sorry Grandma Velva passed away -- but isn't it such a sweet blessing to know where she is! :o) It's hard not to be able to go to the service...but don't let that be the biggest memory you have of her. If she was anything like my Grandma, she'd totally understand your reason for not coming. :o)
Hopefully you, Andy, and Dane can enjoy your last few days together before Andy leaves. :o)
