One fun thing about being pregnant is you almost always have something to talk about, even with perfect strangers. I don't mind talking to people, but half the time I can't think of anything to say to break the ice, so I don't. For someone quiet like me for instance, going to a work party with Andy and all of his co-workers can be uncomfortable or boring, since I don't know anyone, and I usually don't have clubbing and drinking in common either. But having an obvious protruding belly makes for easy conversation. Most people with or with out kids usually ask questions, and anyone with kids has obviously been there so they usually have plenty to talk about. So far I haven't really gotten any comments that bother me, maybe it just doesn't bother me or maybe I haven't run into any crazies yet. Well one lady at the party kept talking and talking about birth and stuff but I think it was just her personality and it would have been the same no matter the topic of conversation.
Needless to say our time at the horse races and with Andy's co-workers ended up being fun and quite a few people came up and chatted with me, about baby stuff of course, but at least I didn't have to sit around hoping time would pass quickly. Maybe he just has awesome co-workers.

100 days
Only 100 days left until my due date!! That feels like another milestone passed. Nothing too exciting has been going on around here. I was sick last week and spent this week well, just enjoying feeling healthy. It feels like I don't get much done since I spend 8 hours a day at work, then come home make dinner, clean up, and go to bed. Sometimes I wish we didn't have to eat, like never get that starving hungry feeling, never get tired and cranky miserable feeling because we need to eat. Think of the extra time we would have if we were always comfortably full with stable blood sugar. I know there are many flaws to that idea, but sometimes it would be nice.

Fourth of July
My little brother and sister came out for the weekend. We had fun, at least I thought so. While I was at a baby shower, Andy and my sibs went to the park and found a rope tied to a tree that needed some adjusting. They spent some time moving it and made a rope swing. We went back a few times during the weekend for some fun. The guys also did some go carting and we went and saw fire works a couple of times. It's always fun being with family, hopefully we will see them all again in a few weeks!

Happy Birthday Rachel!
Getting practice being and aunt!
I have had your card for over a month and when I changed the calendar today I realized it was too late to send it on time. Hope you have a great day! I am so glad to have you as my sister, even if I didn't act like it when we were little :o) I think it would be fun for you to live out here and have you closer but just seek God's will in everything you do~ Love you!

The mundane
I have been a blog slacker lately. It’s such a let down going back to work after such a nice vacation that I feel like I don’t have anything exciting to write about. I go to work and I come home exhausted and nauseous I think it is from the musty smell in my building. I lie down for a half hour then try and get motived to get something done around the house.
I can’t believe I am already in my 6th month. I feel like my belly grew a ton last week. It just seems way bigger all of a sudden. I have been in maternity pants for about 3 months but I have been wearing all my regular shirts because maternity ones have been just huge on me. I think that is all about to change, things are getting tighter, by belly is bumping into things now. I will have to post pictures soon. I did find a few baby things this weekend at a consignment shop. Like a bassinet, I didn’t even know if I was going to use one or not, I really didn’t have a preference, but I found a nice used one and decided to go for it. Now baby has a place to sleep. I am getting so excited to meet this little person. But I am also enjoying the last of our ‘couple time’ before we become a family.
*edit: at least I think I am in my 6th month. I have completed 5 and just started my 6th? I get so confused with pregnancy math. The baby ticker at the top has moved to the 6th month, so that's good enough for me.
