For the Family

On request of Aunt Melissa here is some footage of Dane playing today, I was a little late because he was starting to zone out and get sleepy, but he loves playing with all the toys above him. He is usually way more energetic at swinging and grabbing the toys.

Here is another video for the fam that lives a ways away. This was from about 2 weeks ago. This was one of the first times he really got his head up high and didn't grunt and moan about being on his tummy. Now he is quite practiced at it.

It has been somewhat of a long week. Lots of crying and fussing, and lots of laughing. I did realize he likes to be sung to he almost always laughs, well maybe he is laughing at me. That's probably it. Maybe one of you that have a pleasant voice could sing to him so he won't grow up to be tone deaf and have an appreciation for music. The last picture here with the big smile we were singing Row, Row, Row Your Boat.

Cousins

Yesterday we drove out to Galena to visit Andy's brother and his family. They recently had a new addition as well and we wanted to get the babies together. Aletheia is just the sweetest little girl ever. It made me already miss the newborn stage. I had a great time visiting although it is never long enough. Tessa is another amazing budding photographer and she took some pictures for us. Here are a few from our camera. Thanks Tess for your time!

Favorite View

For some reason the boy likes this view he could lay on his changing table for hours just smiling and cooing at this view. Still no laugh, we get so close and almost laugh all to have it dissolve into hiccups.

We had our 2 month appointment. 13lbs 7 oz and 24" tall. I am posting this so hopefully I will be able to look back and remember if I don't get it written down else where.

Month 2

This month he is on the verge of laughing everyday. We still haven't quite got the full laugh though. He is talking and cooing and so happy just to lay on the floor and look around. What a sweet little blessing. Today we are leaving for his second road trip. This one is shorter though.
