May is almost done

I keep thinking about so many things to blog about but yet I have yet to do it. I barely even check the computer anymore. We moved into our new home 2 weeks ago. I really love it, most especially the backyard. Dane loves it too. I haven't even picked up my camera since the day before we moved. We have been mostly unpacked since last weekend but there are still some things that need to find a home. And I am itching to paint some rooms, but need to find some time. Fortunately they are all pretty neutral colored so I can live with it. I am trying to let go of perfection and remind myself that I can't have everything painted and organized how I want it in a few days. It took 6 years at the other house and I still had plenty more ideas of things I wanted to do.
May is almost done, I am past the halfway point in this pregnancy and I have tons to do. Including getting my camera out and spending some fun time with Dane. We are going to Colorado next week to visit "Bomma" and "Bompa". Maybe I will actually get a few pictures up before we leave.

It's a Boy!!

I am going to be busy chasing 2 little busy boys around! And Dane will have a little brother to wrestle with. I don't know if a sister would appreciate wrestling quite as much as a brother would.

And for comparison, here is Dane's ultrasound compared to our new little guy. I think they do look similar.

Sorry that was mean to make you all wait, but oh so fun :o) I better not waste too much time there is a TON to get done today.

And the verdict is in

It's a .....
I can't help myself, I am going to hold out a while longer, just because it is so fun keeping secrets. Yes we did find out, and most importantly the baby looked healthy. We had to go in for a more in depth ultrasound since there is a family history of heart defects. Feel free to make a guess. I really should make a contest out of this but I am really busy and should not be working on my blog. I mean we are only moving in 2 days and we haven't even touched the kitchen.

Rainy day and procrasitating

Considering I was woke up this morning at 5am and it's raining outside I am not really feeling like doing much. I have done some laundry but that's about it. So I am doing a multitude of posts to make up for my lack of blogging lately and instead of packing. At least 5 am this Monday morning is several hours better than last Tuesday morning when he got up at 1:30am and NEVER went back to sleep, not crying just wanting to play and sing. We finally put him in his bed for a few hours and he fussed for an hour or so until our alarm went off. I took him to the Dr. and he had a bad ear infection.

Tomorrow is my ultrasound. I am undecided as to if we will find out the gender or not. Andy tried flipping a coin to see if we would find out or not. We didn't find out with Dane and it was fun, though toward the end I was getting really anxious to find out.

Wednesday is my 5 month appointment to see how much weight I have gained. I saw somewhere by 20 weeks most people have gained about 10 lbs. I am pretty sure I will be closer to 20lbs, it was probably that mother's day breakfast :o)

This may be the last post for a few weeks. Hopefully I will be able to put a few ultrasound pictures up of the baby as long as the scanner isn't packed and we still have internet.

To find out or not to find out that is the question.

Also my friend Amy from college is hosting a give-a-way. Check out her blog.

We move in on Friday!

Here is a picture off of the realtor site. Home sweet home. We had an awesome decorator in at MOPS on friday and now I have a whole bunch of ideas for decorating. I wish money was endless and first things first we need to get moved in and unpacked.
Here is one sneak peak of the inside. I am standing by the front door so here is the front room and it can also be a dining room over where they have an office set up. I feel weird posting this picture of other people's stuff but I just thought a quick peak inside the front door would be fun.
We load the truck up Thursday night and head to our closings Friday morning. Hopefully it all flows smoothly and our times dont change and no one backs out. We wouldn't want to be hanging out for many hours with no place to set our stuff.

Not sure which part was my favorite.

Mothers Day was wonderful yesterday. Andy made me breakfast and lunch. Though breakfast was the highlight. I love a big breakfast. He made stuffed french toast with orange apricot syrup, fruit salad with all the fresh berries I had been craving, and egg casserole. It was so delicious the only down side was I ate so much I was sleepy throughout most of sunday school. Then we spent the end of the day the three of us reading books on our bed. Dane was in heaven with all the attention. So far the past two mothers days I have wanted and enjoyed being with the very reason I am a mother. Some people want a break, but I just wanted to spend extra time with my little guy. Maybe if he were crabby I would have wanted a break, like today :o) I almost forgot, not only did I get special treatment I got a gift certificate for a pregnancy massage!! Can't wait to put that to good use!

Did you see I am half way done, only 20 weeks to go? This little one sure is wiggly I have been feeling him or her squirm around for about a month now but the kicks are getting stronger!
