We spent the day at my Aunt's house making tamales. To be honest, I have never even had a tamale, so I didn't know what to expect, but it was fun, quite a process since we were all first timers, and it was fun spending time with my dad's three sisters. All around a great day!

Oh wow! I just had tamales for the first time last year. Our niece goes to a Spanish school in MI and they have Spanish grandmas make tamales for a fundraiser! Looks like a fun time in the kitchen!
